Getting In Gear for the Mushing Season!

Trails are shaping up and smoothing out after a fair amount of snow and some mighty chilly temps.  After a very mild fall that allowed us to get some extra outdoor projects completed, we've moved right along into a great start to our mushing season.  The past week or so have thrown us some -30 and -40F temps. but forecasts promise a warm-up soon - we're looking forward to that!
The sled dogs are antsy with anticipation at the slightest noise that might be a guest arriving.  They are my alarm that someone is approaching our road.  A choppy chorus of "pick-mes!" drowns out any hope of conversation as we hook up the team to take off on a ride.  A mournful howl follows us out of the doglot as we head out the trail on a run without the dogs who got left behind.  Upon our return to the lot, the hopeful yapping begins again as the dogs who didn't get to go anticipate going on the next run.
We're excited to begin our 14th season of sled dogs tours and look forward to a new year of sharing our mushing adventures with our guests.  We welcome back our old friends and invite our new friends to see what the excitement is all about.  Cheers! Leslie and the Paws gang
